Paramedical Courses after 12th Class
Pharmacists study the chemistry of drugs, their origin, procedures for drug developments, their preparations, dispensing effects and eventual uses for presentation and treatment of disease. Pharmacists work in four areas: hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, industrial pharmacy and research to develop new formulations, conduct clinical trials where drugs are tested for safety and effectiveness. They also work in marketing. Research pharmacists work in Pharmaceutical firms, research organizations and laboratories. If you have a scientific bent of mind and interest in medicine, pharmacy would be an interesting option. An ability to work methodically carefully and accuracy is needed. Registered Pharmacists work in various health centers, hospitals and medical dispensing stores and in Pharmaceutical industries. They also work in Drug Control Administration as Drug Inspector. Study of Pharmacy can be pursued at the following levels – Diploma of 2 years, 3 years, and Degree of 4 years duration after class XII with (PCM/B)
